Media Ethics and PEMRA
Agha Sherazi visited a classroom of aspiring journalists and delivered a thought-provoking session on the role and impact of PEMRA in shaping Pakistan’s media landscape. The discussion moved beyond theory and into real-world broadcasting challenges, highlighting responsibility, ethics, and the fine balance between freedom of expression and regulatory frameworks.
Students actively participated with questions drawn from current media trends in Pakistan, making the session highly interactive and relevant to local industry practices. The dialogue encouraged them to think critically about how media regulations influence content creation, audience trust, and professional accountability.
By the end of the session, students walked away with a clearer understanding of the evolving media environment and a stronger sense of responsibility as future media professionals, making it a truly enriching academic experience.
