Building a Freelance Career
The Professional Development Center (PDC), Al-Kawthar University, in collaboration with DORTS Corporation, successfully organized a one-day workshop on “Roadmap of Freelancing”, aimed at equipping participants with practical knowledge and strategies to begin and develop successful freelancing careers.
The session provided valuable guidance on key aspects of freelancing, including selecting the right skill, building a strong professional portfolio, finding and approaching potential clients, making effective use of freelancing platforms, and developing strategies for long-term professional growth.
The workshop was conducted by Shumail Ali, Co-founder & CEO, Dorts Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and Digital Marketing Consultant, Al-Kawthar University, who shared practical insights and industry experience with the participants.
Through interactive discussions, practical guidance, and real-world insights, the session helped aspiring freelancers understand the opportunities and challenges of the freelance industry and take informed steps toward building sustainable careers.
